SAM and SAM Managed Facilities Partner To Support Breast Cancer Research & Awareness
Storage Asset Management (SAM), the third largest third-party self-storage management company in the U.S., is pleased to announce a donation of $9,191.66 to Susan G. Komen for breast cancer research & awareness.SAM-managed stores donated a portion of merchandise sales incurred during the month of October to benefit breast cancer awareness and research. The donation was matched 100% by SAM corporate and presented to Susan G. Komen. Komen focuses on breast cancer education, research, advocacy, health services and social support programs in the U.S.
“In honor of #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth and to show support for one of our own team members who is currently battling breast cancer, we did a company-wide Pink Out in addition to raising money for Susan G. Komen. While SAM-managed stores have raised money in previous years to benefit breast cancer awareness and research, this year it really resonated with each of us as we witnessed the courage and perseverance of one of our SAM property managers battling breast cancer,” said Melissa Stiles, Chief Marketing Officer for SAM.
