Q: Can you introduce yourself and provide some background on your role within SAM? What are your primary responsibilities and areas of expertise?
A: I am the Senior Marketing Generalist for SAM and my role is to provide personalized marketing strategies for our stores to help them achieve their rental goals and generate new leads. My areas of expertise include data analysis, lead generation, and digital marketing.
Q: What attracted you to this role and our company?
A: I started at SAM in 2022 and what attracted me was the fact that the self storage industry is closely related to the real estate industry which is what I am familiar with (coming from a background in property management). I wanted a role that allows me to be creative and data-driven, and SAM allows me to do just that.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working at SAM? Is there a specific aspect of your job or the company culture that you find particularly rewarding?
A: I enjoy the dynamic aspect of helping our stores achieve their goals. No storage facility is the same and in my role, I can create new marketing strategies for a different subset of stores in different markets. No day is the same and I enjoy that flexibility.
Q: Has a memorable life lesson or advice shaped your outlook or approach to life and work?
A: Mental health is important. Understanding that mental health affects my quality of life and work, I recommend everyone to check in with themselves frequently to ensure they are in a good headspace and if not to do whatever works for them to improve it.
Q: Outside of work, what hobbies or interests do you enjoy pursuing in your free time?
A: I enjoy spending time with my dog, Jax. I also enjoy writing, trying new restaurants, and my newest hobby is juicing.
Q: Can you share a fun fact about yourself?
A: I used to have my own fashion brand which started my love and passion for digital marketing.
Q: Is there anything else you’d like to share about yourself?
A: I am looking forward to continuing my growth and knowledge in the marketing field and being a resource to help brands grow.
