Spring Sparkle at SAM: A Team Effort to Shine Bright
Each year, SAM holds a company-wide Spring Sparkle contest to get our facilities looking their absolute best. Spring Sparkle blends friendly competition with teamwork, pride, and a shared goal: making our stores shine inside and out.
Our 2025 spring sparkle contest ran through the month of April. While maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming properties is a SAM standard year-round, spring offers the perfect opportunity to reset after winter, refresh landscaping, brighten up exteriors, and take on small projects that make a big impact.
Each location submitted before-and-after photos documenting their transformations. District managers and regional directors reviewed the submissions, selecting one standout winner per region based on improvements in cleanliness, organization, and overall curb appeal.

Spring Sparkle is also a celebration of collaboration. Executive leadership team members roll up their sleeves to join in the cleanup. They work side-by-side with store teams to tackle improvement projects and keep the energy high. It’s one of many examples of how teamwork drives our success at SAM. Everyone, from store managers to district managers to the corporate team, plays a part in making our stores shine.
Our Spring Sparkle contest reinforces our belief that great curb appeal does more than catch the eye. It sends a message.
