Meet this month’s store team spotlight, Lakota Bollinger, district trainer and store manager of Valley Storage – Hickory North. Lakota was nominated for the spotlight by three of her peers, all sharing just how deserving of this nomination she is. Anjelique said, “She makes sure you understand and feel comfortable, no matter the issue, and checks back to be certain, even when she is so busy herself. A good positive attitude from someone helping the whole business win is much needed, and Lakota is just that person. ” Get to know Lakota in the Q&A below!

Q:  How long have you been working for SAM?

A:  Three years

Q:  How did you come to be part of the team at SAM? What attracted you to this role and our company? 

A:  I joined by chance. I enjoy the hands on projects and the opportunity to develop.

Q:  What do you enjoy most about working at SAM? Is there a specific aspect of your job or the company culture that you find particularly rewarding?

A:  I enjoy the team I work with as well as meeting members of the community.

Q:  Outside of work, what hobbies or interests do you enjoy pursuing in your free time?

A:   I enjoy hiking and spending time with family.

Q:  Is there a memorable life lesson or piece of advice that has shaped your outlook or approach to life and work?

A:  I have had the opportunity to meet people on some of the worst days they could imagine and see them grow overtime and overcome the struggles; it is an everyday reminder that things can always get better.

Q:  Can you share a fun fact about yourself?

A:  I enjoy crocheting.

Q:  Is there anything else you’d like to share about yourself?

A:  I am a mom of four great kids – three girls and one baby boy!
