Meet this month’s store team spotlight, Kimberlee Kellee, assistant store manager. Kimberlee was nominated by her peer who said: “She is hard working, flexible, and a huge help all the way around. She is easy to get along with and is always there when you need her.” Get to know Kimberlee in the Q&A below!

Q:  How long have you been working for SAM?

A:  I have been with SAM for five months. 

Q:  How did you come to be part of the team at SAM? What attracted you to this role and our company? 

A:  I saw a posting for the assistant store manager position on Indeed and this seemed like a job I could do and I would enjoy.

Q:  What do you enjoy most about working at SAM? Is there a specific aspect of your job or the company culture that you find particularly rewarding?

A:  I love the team atmosphere here. It is rewarding to be able to help my co-workers and come up with new was to make the job better and more fun.  

Q:  Outside of work, what hobbies or interests do you enjoy pursuing in your free time?

A:  I am a big time reader, books are my escape from the day to day. I also love spending my time with my family as a mom of four and a Mimi (aka Grandma) to one. I love the outdoors, doing photography, camping, swimming and hiking mostly.  

Q:  Is there a memorable life lesson or piece of advice that has shaped your outlook or approach to life and work?

A:  Y es, I have worked for several companies that do not value the employees as people. Just numbers in the system, but here at SAM it is not like that. Truly, everyone I have worked with here at SAM is caring and makes me feel valued.    

Q:  Can you share a fun fact about yourself?

A:  I read 45 book this year. I used to do team gymnastics from two years old to fourteen. 

Q:  Is there anything else you’d like to share about yourself?
