Storage Asset Management (SAM) is pleased to announce that their managed storage facilities participated in a charitable fourth quarter, donating more than $15,000 to charities. Additionally, in December, SAM was announced as a Best Place to Work in Pennsylvania.
In the month of October, SAM managed stores donated over $3,500 to the Susan G. Komen foundation. Storage Asset Management has also matched the donation bringing the total to $7,051. The money was raised through an October initiative where a portion of each sale of packing supplies was donated. This is the sixth year that SAM has been able to make a significant donation to the foundation. Susan G. Komen foundation focuses on breast cancer education, research, advocacy, health services and social support programs in the U.S.
For the holiday season, Storage Asset Management formed a corporate partnership with the Salvation Army. During the months of December and November, SAM’s managed stores served as monetary donation collection points for their Rescue Christmas program. During this initiative, SAM stores collected more than $8,400 for the charity. Salvation Army’s Rescue Christmas helps fulfilled the larger need this year in assistance for holiday gifts, meals, and monetary needs of community members. All of the donations raised at each store, go back into the community that the store is located in.
