SAM Employee Spotlight: Rhonda Graybill

Payroll Manager of Storage Asset Management

Rhonda Graybill

Q:  How long have you been working for SAM?

A:  My journey with SAM started just this year on January 30th.

Q:  What do you like about working for SAM?

A:   I like how friendly everyone is and it is a very relaxed atmosphere. My manager has been very supportive of new ideas and changes and my payroll team has been a great asset in teaching me all about SAM’s processes. I love being able to work remotely two days a week because it really saves time, and gas as well.

Q:  What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

A:   I love going to the beach, specifically Destin, FL. My husband and I hope to someday make that our forever home. I also collect a variety of fairies (steampunk are my favorite), lighthouses, and seashells/sand dollars.

Q:  Can you share a fun fact about yourself?

A:  For the past 24 years I have written and directed dramas and musicals for our creative arts youth ministry team. We used to travel to other East Coast States performing these programs and teaching other youth groups our programs.

Q:  Is there anything else you’d like to share?

A:  My husband, Adam, and I met in his junior year of high school and have been together for 31 years and actually just celebrated 24 years of marriage on June 5th.  We have two daughters, Sasha and Amber, and one son, Landon (who just got his driver’s license)! Plus three grandchildren (Rowan is five, Adeline is three, and Gavin is one). We also have two Boston Terriers. My husband and I bought a restaurant in 2019  in Abbottstown, PA called Graybill’s Route 30 Diner, so our life is full of never ending journeys!

Q:  What is your go-to Sunday cleaning and organizing song?

A: My granddaughter always wants to listen to “Hey Mickey” by Toni Basil.
