Roben Nettles

Q:  How long have you been working for SAM?

A:  I have been working at SAM for one year and three months.

Q:  How did you come to be part of the team at SAM? What attracted you to this role and our company?

A:  While searching through Indeed I was looking for a career opportunity where I could grow in the company and that was also something familiar from my past. The thing that attracted me most was the starting pay.

Q:  What do you enjoy most about working at SAM? Is there a specific aspect of your job or the company culture that you find particularly rewarding?

A:  The thing that I enjoy the most is being able to meet different people from all walks of life. The most exciting part of this company is being able to travel to different events and being a part of the Culture Committee.

Q:  Is there a memorable life lesson or piece of advice that has shaped your outlook or approach to life and work?

A:  A memorable moment of my job is being able to listen to my tenants’ stories and the advice that I have taken from this is to always be grateful and appreciate what you have.

Q:  Outside of work, what are some of your hobbies or interests that you enjoy pursuing in your free time?

A:  Something that I enjoy doing outside of work is being able to spend time with my children.

Q:  Can you share a fun fact about yourself?

A:  A fun fact about me is that I love doing DIY projects.

Q:  Is there anything else you’d like to share about yourself?

A:  I have four children. Their ages are 21, 18, 15, and 10.
