Ashley Davis

Q:  How long have you been working for SAM?

A:  I have been with SAM for six years.

Q:  How did you come to be part of the team at SAM? What attracted you to this role and our company?

A:  I came to be a part of the team at SAM by an ad that was posted on Indeed. What attracted me to the role at the time was the flexible hours and the welcoming staff at the time of the interview.

Q:  What do you enjoy most about working at SAM? Is there a specific aspect of your job or the company culture that you find particularly rewarding?

A:  The things I enjoy most about working at SAM is being able to interact with other people and meeting new people from different walks of life. I like being able to help them with something as stressful as moving. I feel like my role as a store manger gives my tenants peace of mind.

Q: Is there a memorable life lesson or piece of advice that has shaped your outlook or approach to life and work?

A:  A life lesson that I take with me daily is that life sometimes gets tough, but there is always light at the end of the tunnel. As a manager you sometimes meet people who are sad or mad at the time of move in and just need you to be a listening ear. Once they move out, they are happy and in a better place in life.

Q:  Outside of work, what are some of your hobbies or interests that you enjoy pursuing in your free time?

A:  Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my daughter, Bible study, going to coffee shops, bowling, and writing poems.

Q:  Can you share a fun fact about yourself?

A: A fun fact about me is I make my own candles!

Q:  Is there anything else you’d like to share about yourself?

A:  I have a 9 year-old daughter named Christina and a pet beagle named Ace (he is a senior citizen). I have a passion for making baked treats with my kiddo and having movie nights.
